Hunger strike to lose weight? Is it necessary?
As you know, I am an advocate of all that is organic and natural. To be able to move a person to a state of cleanliness, to the essence. To respect our nature, human nature.
This is why I was asked about my hunger strikes many times...
This is not part of our Programme!
If we think about our ancestors, millions of years ago they could survive for a long time without food. That's how we were created.
We have the ability to survive in such conditions. We have metabolic mechanisms to manage energy stocks.
What has changed during the social evolution is that access to nutritional products is very easy. We don’t need or hunt to eat or wait for harvests from agricultural production.
Nowadays, we can prepare meals at any time. We eat when we feel like it, when we feel anxious. Because there is a party, or just because. Whenever we want to.
This is against our nature. Contrary to how we were designed. Ultimately, we create a certain energy dependence.
There are some repercussions from a health point of view. Our metabolism never (or almost never) needs to use the accumulated stocks. However, our ability to produce glycemia and insulin sensitivity are limited... There are also related consequences.
When we are on a slimming diet, we need to reduce our energy reserves, body fat. We must find a way to let our body burn fat. And we will do this while respecting restrictions related to the source of immediate energy in the nutrition products.
But what will happen to our hunger?
We are energetically dependent only on our nutrition. When we run out of energy, we feel very irritated and hungry. Extremely hungry.
This is one of the reasons why it is difficult to be on a diet.
For this reason, I insist on frequent meals and the necessity of eating these meals, because I know that it will be beneficial for hunger management in the initial phase.
In addition, it is very difficult to lose weight without damaging fat tissue if we don’t eat for a very long time.
We are metabolically deregulated.
FIT6 and hunger strike
Why is there is no temporary hunger strike in our slimming Programme?
In my opinion, fasting in no way favours losing weight.
When we are hungry, we are not aware of the moment in which we should eat a meal or otherwise, we eat much more and much worse.
In addition, when our system is deregulated, there is a higher risk of eating another meal.
Our priority is you achieving your goal, changing your eating habits, teaching the palate and mind again, how, when and how much to eat. Then, yes, you can consider using these types of "tricks" to be in good health.
After achieving the goal we have defined, we are able to reach for such strategies to maintain the balance and to draw concrete benefits from them.
Improving insulin sensitivity has a positive effect on weight maintenance, and more effectively supports the immune system.
